Foreword
Nordic Women in Tech Awards celebrates and recognizes female role models who have made outstanding contributions to the tech industry. By highlighting their individual and collective achievements, we aim to promote their success and inspire others to follow their footsteps.
We believe in the power of diversity and inclusivity, and our ultimate goal is to make a positive contribution to the tech industry by inspiring the next generation of diverse and talented tech professionals.
The initiative is 100% volunteer-based, established by the Non-profit organization WonderCoders and organized in collaboration with Women in Tech Iceland and Women in Tech Norway.
We build on a strong legacy and we know that the key to our success is our uncompromising commitment to act with integrity.
This is why we apply strong standards to the way we run the initiative.
It is our road to maintain the trust and loyalty within our community, to achieve our future ambitions and for us all to take pride in what we do at Nordic Women in Tech Awards (NWiTA).
Our Code of conduct embodies the ethical principles and policies we apply to our activities at NWiTA. It guides our actions and helps us make the right choices., based on our organization’s values and focus on running sustainable initiatives that benefit our community.
We all share the responsibility to adhere to the Code and if at any point you are unsure how our principles apply, please speak up and seek guidance from NWiTA’s team.

Our Values
As more and more women take the road less traveled, they pave the way for future generations to innovate, create, develop, and inspire. These women take action and make an impact in an industry dominated by men. At the Nordic Women in Tech Awards, we strive to put these trailblazers in the spotlight.
Our goal is to act as a megaphone for these outstanding women and amplify their voices in an industry that is in dire need of more creative solutions and fresh perspectives. By shining a light on their achievements, we hope to inspire the next generation of women to take on the challenge of a career in tech and to help create a more diverse and inclusive industry.
At Nordic Women in Tech Awards, community is at our heart.
Our Core Values are:
Diversity – Our differences are what make us stand out from the crowd. At NWiTA we encourage everyone to embrace that uniqueness.
Inclusion – When a difference should be made, everyone must be involved. NWiTA’s doors are open to everyone.
Inspiration – It’s hard to be something you cannot see. Inspiring others to believe in their dreams and have the courage to pursue them is our mission.
Collaboration – We are stronger together. We leverage the power of our community and network to foster professional relationships and partnerships.
We trust we can make a much bigger impact if we walk the path together.
Passion – We celebrate our achievements and experiences. Our dreams and passion inspire the next generation of leaders.
